More square footage means more material and labor. Larger vehicles cost more.
Paint condition
Paint must be factory clear coat in good condition. Faded, repainted, or damaged paint can affect adhesion and is not covered by warranty.
Vehicle shape complexity
Curved panels, recessed door handles, and compound curves require more time to install correctly.
Wrap material grade
Standard cast vinyl is included. Chrome, reflective, color-shift, or specialty finishes carry additional material cost.
Frequently asked questions
- How much does a vehicle wrap cost?
- Vehicle wraps at WrapMasters are priced at $15 to $20 per square foot, with print and installation included. A pickup truck typically falls between $4,350 and $5,800. A full-size van typically falls between $5,625 and $7,500. Final pricing depends on vehicle size, surface complexity, and material selection.
- What is included in the price?
- The price includes premium 3M cast vinyl film, full-color digital printing, professional installation by a 3M Preferred Installer, UV-resistant lamination, and a 2-year workmanship warranty. Vehicle wrap removal and graphic design are not included.
- Is vehicle wrap removal included?
- No. Wrap removal is a separate service. If you need removal of an existing wrap before a new installation, ask about removal pricing when you contact us.
- Do I need to bring my own design?
- Design is a separate service. If you already have print-ready artwork, we can go straight to production. If you need design, we offer graphic design as an add-on or as a standalone service.
- Does my vehicle need to be in a certain condition?
- Yes. Paint must be factory clear coat in good condition. Wraps do not adhere correctly to faded, repainted, peeling, or otherwise compromised paint. We inspect each vehicle before installation and will let you know if anything needs attention.
- How long does a vehicle wrap last?
- A professionally installed wrap using 3M cast vinyl typically lasts 5 to 7 years with normal outdoor exposure. Garaged vehicles often see longer life. WrapMasters backs every wrap with a 2-year workmanship warranty.
- Is it cheaper to wrap or paint a van?
- A basic commercial repaint at a body shop runs $3,000 to $6,000 and leaves you with a plain-color van. A full wrap in the same price range gives you a fully printed graphic, company name, phone number, and a removable finish that protects the factory paint underneath. For commercial vehicles where the look is also advertising, wrapping almost always delivers more value per dollar than painting.
- Can a wrapped vehicle go through a carwash?
- Touchless and hand washes are safe for wrapped vehicles. Automatic brush carwashes are not recommended. The stiff bristles can lift wrap edges at seams, door handles, and mirrors. For best results, hand wash with mild soap and a soft cloth. Avoid directing a pressure washer at seams and edges.
- What is the downside of vehicle wrapping?
- Wraps require clean factory paint in good condition to adhere correctly. Vehicles with significant fading, repairs, or repaints may not be good candidates. Wraps also need periodic care since neglecting maintenance in Texas sun can shorten lifespan. Low-grade films fade faster, which is why WrapMasters uses 3M cast vinyl with UV-resistant lamination backed by a 2-year warranty.
- Do you wrap single vehicles or only fleets?
- Both. We wrap single vehicles and fleets of any size, from one truck to an entire commercial fleet across multiple locations.
- Where are you located and what areas do you serve?
- WrapMasters is located in Denton, TX and serves the entire Dallas-Fort Worth area, including Carrollton, Lewisville, Little Elm, and Aubrey. We also work with clients nationwide for fleet programs.
