Fleet-First Branding™ / Market Launch

The Market Launch: when the brand on your fleet is changing in public

Some companies need their trucks made right. A smaller number are becoming a different company in front of their customers: a new name, an acquisition rolling three fleets under one banner, a second generation taking over, a first crew in a new metro.

That is not a design project. It is a transition your customers have to follow, and the fleet is where they will see it first. The Market Launch is the Fleet-First Branding™ engagement for exactly this moment.

The dividing line
One question decides whether you need this or the Brand System: is the name changing, or is what the name stands for changing? If the answer is neither, and you are updating a brand that already works, the Brand System is the right scope and costs less.

Case study: Eightpoint became Ironstead

Image placeholder: Eightpoint truck beside Ironstead truck, or the Ironstead typemark and palette spread

Eightpoint Construction built ranch fencing the right way: new steel only, posts sunk three feet, no salvage pipe. The name just never said so. In 2025 the company became Ironstead Fence Co., and the transition ran as a Market Launch: a new name built on what the work already proved, an identity system with primary and secondary marks and a six-color heritage palette with usage rules, and a positioning claim the old name could not carry: The Ranch Fence Authority.

The launch handled the part most rebrands skip, the customers. An announcement letter told them what changed and what did not: same team, tighter promise. A referral offer with a deadline gave existing customers a reason to carry the new name to their neighbors in the first sixty days, when a rebrand either takes hold or quietly dies.

That is the shape of a Market Launch: the equity kept, the claim sharpened, the first truck wrapped in the new brand with the standards in place for every one after it, and the audience walked across the bridge instead of left on the old side of it.

What you get

Everything in the Brand System, plus:

  • Market and customer discovery

Interviews with your customers and a positioning review of your competitive market, so the new brand is built on what buyers actually value, not a conference room hunch.

  • Transition strategy

What changes, in what order, and what equity from the old brand carries forward. The plan for the months when both brands exist at once.

  • Full identity system

Logo system, messaging platform, and a brand standards document your whole team works from.

  • Staged fleet rollout

Which vehicles convert when, sequenced so the fleet never looks half-changed and the busy season never loses a truck.

  • Launch campaign assets

Announcement creative, website brand updates, review platform and Google Business Profile updates, signage direction, and a 90-day launch calendar.

  • Leadership alignment session

One working session so everyone who answers your phone tells the same story about who you are now.

Investment
Scoped by engagement after a conversation, because no two transitions carry the same risk or fleet size. Market Launch engagements begin above the Brand System and run 10 to 14 weeks. Wrap production for the fleet is quoted separately, per vehicle, as always.

After the launch

A launch without anyone running the calendar after week twelve is where rebrands stall. Market Launch clients are eligible for My Marketing Department, and most transitions should end there: the new brand, with a marketing department behind it.
